Umrah packages from Adelaide

An Umrah from Adelaide is a long trip with many parts that must fit together: the flights, the hotels in Makkah and Madinah, the transfers between them and the visa. We arrange all of it as one package, so you can give your attention to the journey itself.

What a Tumgo Umrah package covers

  • Return flights from Adelaide to Jeddah or Madinah.
  • Hotels in Makkah and Madinah, close to the Haram or at the distance that suits your budget.
  • Transfers between the airport, Makkah and Madinah.
  • Help with the visa and the documents.
  • Packages for one person, a couple or a whole family, and Ramadan packages.

Getting there

There are no direct flights from Adelaide to Saudi Arabia. The usual routes connect in Doha, Dubai or Kuala Lumpur, then fly to Jeddah (JED) or Madinah (MED). Starting in Madinah and finishing in Makkah, or the other way round, can make the trip easier, and we plan the flights to match.

Visa

Australian passport holders can usually perform Umrah on a Saudi tourist eVisa outside the Hajj season, or on an Umrah visa arranged through a package. Other passports have their own rules. Saudi rules change, so we check them for your dates and passport.

Health and vaccination

Saudi Arabia asks Umrah pilgrims for a meningococcal (ACWY) vaccination. See your GP at least ten days before you travel and carry the certificate. Ask your GP about other vaccines and any medicines you need for the trip.

Ramadan 2027

Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February and end around 9 March, depending on the moon. The last ten nights are the busiest and dearest time of the year in Makkah, so book well ahead if you want them.
